Convenience is the main benefit of using mobile payments. You can save time by paying for purchases with your mobile device instead of taking out your wallet to get your commercial card. Mobile payments also serve as a digital backup in case you forget your physical commercial card at home.
Merchants that accept mobile payments usually make this clear during checkout or on the card reader device.
Most new phones and devices can be used to make mobile payments via payment apps like Apple Pay, Google Wallet, Samsung Wallet or Garmin Pay. The appropriate app for mobile payments is likely already loaded onto your phone or device if the functionality is available.

Yes, mobile payments are secure. All mobile payments employ tokenization, but each has its own unique technology for guaranteeing the security of your purchases. To make a payment, a special number, or token, is generated when you add a card your mobile wallet. This provides an additional degree of protection because it guarantees that merchants will never see your card number or personal information stored on your device. This often makes the transaction faster and more secure than when using a physical card at checkout.
Based on some account conditions, additional authentication through the call center may be required.
Your receipt displays the last four digits of the token generated when you added your commercial card to your mobile wallet, not the last four digits of your physical card.
Several elements influence the digital card art. For instance, the card art that’s shown for the One Card is the same for any customer that uses mobile payments. Aside from the general appearance, information that would typically be visible on a physical card is either purposefully omitted from or masked in the digital image for security reasons.
The restrictions that apply to certain purchases with a plastic card also apply to mobile payments. Cardmembers who experience a decline at the point of sale should contact Cardmember Services at 866-770-6154, option 3 to review the transaction.
